Obituary
Warren Alton Page was born January 19, 1936 in Lottsburg, Virginia to the late Pearl and Herbert E. Page He was fifth child of nine. Pre-deceased was his brother Robert Page and sister Barbara Redmond. He was raised in Lottsburg, VA where he attended Holley Grade School and went to graduate from Julius Rosenwald High School in Reedville, Virginia.
He served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. He later moved to Long Island, New York in the early 60s. Where he married to Annie Cockrell who preceded him in death on February 5, 2012. His early religious education was at Zion Baptist Church of Lottsburg, Virginia. After moving to New York, he joined Mount Clear Baptist Church in Amityville, New York where he was an active member and trustee until his passing.
Warren worked as a foreman for Industrial Finishes in Port Washington, New York for over 35 years until his retirement.
He leaves to mourn his loving memory: two brother; Henry W. Page of Lottsburg, VA, Grayson Page of Wyandanch, NY. Four sisters; Mary E. Thorne of Amityvillle, NY, Betty L. Page of Wyandanch, NY, Rosie A. Keeve of Tinton Falls, NJ, and Margie Ruth Holden of Temple Hills, MD. Nephews; Henry T. Page, Grayson P. Page, Christopher Page, Duane Redmond, and Anthony Redmond (Bianca), all of Virginia. Oswald Redmond, Jr. of Maryland, Ernest Keeve of New Jersey, Jeffrey Page and Tyrone Page of New York. Nieces; Mary Winbush of Virginia, Karen L. Adams (Edward, Jr.), and Gwendolyn Smith of New York, Sharon Redmond, Sheila Simms (Jerold), Lesia Swaringen of Maryland, Melinda Redmond of Washington, D.C. and Sonia Green (Anthony) of Virginia, Cheryl Keeve of New Jersey and a host of grand nieces, grand nephews and friends.
