Obituary
Steven Albert Ellis, the eldest son, of proud parents Jennie M. Ellis and the late Elmer Jack Ellis was born on October 11,1950 in Brooklyn, New York. Steven a.k.a. Stevie departed this life on December 25, 2017 at his home in Amityville, New York.
Stevie attended elementary school in Brooklyn, New York. The family later moved to Amityville, New York were Stevie completed his education in the Copiague School District. After graduating his school, Stevie enlisted in the National Guard where he was to learn to become a Radio Operator; but because of medical issues he was given an honorable discharge.
Stevie continued his education at the Island Drafting and Technical Institute in Amityville where he completed courses with high honors. Stevie had successful career at Fairchild Weston Corporation in Syosset, New York.
Stevie had many pleasures outside if work one being airplanes. So much so that he obtained his pilot license. Stevie had a passion for doing things for children. Stevie sent many hours assembling toy planes and donating them to the St. Jude Hospital for Children. Stevie’s other pleasures included watching Star Trek and Star War movies and he had a love for music.
Stevie leaves to mourn his mother, one brother, one sister, four foster sisters, one uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
