"Mother"

Marcy White was born October 16, 1930 in New York, NY to Oscar and Clara Jefferson. She graduated Morris High School in Bronx, NY. She retired as a home health aide, working with the elderly population. She was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Harlem, NY for many years.

Marcy loved to cook and was always the perfect hostess. Most of all, she loved to entertain her family and friends. She always gave sound advice and was always there to help others. She didn’t judge and treated everyone with respect, no matter what was going on in your life. She was the mother to so many people. She was known as Mom, Momma, Grammie, Auntie, Marcy, and Mrs. White.

Marcy was married to Isaac W. White for many, many years until his passing on April 25 2008. Together they raised five children, Hurline White (deceased), Carolyn L. Wheeler, Irwin Junius White, Leonard Earl White, and Renee Marcy White.

Marcy leaves to mourn her three sisters, one brother, one stepson, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and numerous family members and friends.

Mom, we will always love and miss you.
