Obituary
George Linwood Davis III (Dodirty a.k.a Porgie) departed this life on the day of our Lord February 6, 2018 in Jamaica Queens, New York.
He was born on March 22nd 1970 to George Linwood Davis Sr. and Jacqueline Jennings-Davis. He grew up between New York City and Long Island.
Since a young age he has always been deeply rooted in music and art. He was never shy about expressing his love for music at any event or party. This was apparent by his infectious way of always being able to command the microphone and move the crowd. This talent and gift is what steered him to the path of helping new and upcoming artist hone in and develop their craft under his direction and guidance. This gift blossomed into the career of videography and his acceptance into collegiate program to further develop his craft.
Porgie/ Dodirty was the devoted father to Sayquan Davis, Yanae Davis and Messiah Davis. The adored son of George L. Davis Sr. The loving older brother of Janeine Davis and Eric Davis, and the admired uncle of Kareem Burns Jr.
He will be missed by the many lives that he touched during his short time with us. He leaves to mourn his passing his children, father, siblings, nieces & nephews, and a host of beloved family members and friends.
