Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Lucille Gwaltney Thomas known to family and friends as “Lady” announces her passing after a brief illness, on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at the age of 86 years.

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Ms. Sharon Thomas Scott and Dr. Stephanie Thomas. She will also be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, James Marcus, Collin Andrew, Tiara Shanice and Frederick Richard, by her five great grandchildren, Damien Jhawan Wessley, Tiaree Najae, Tyree Jahiem, Ariyah Mahogany, and Ja’Meris Maleek.

Dorothy will also be forever remembered by her numerous cousins, extended family and dear friends.
