Doreth E. Davidson

Doreth E. Davidson was born on September 4th, 1945 in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica to Murelda and Arthur Davidson. 

She was the third of eight children and is survived by Bobsie Swaby, Granville Davidson, Donald Davidson, Beverlyn Patten, Vilma Davidson, Brenton Davidson, and Carl Davidson.

As a child she attended Ballard’s Valley Moravian Church where she actively participated in bible studies.

She started her own family in Jamaica and had three children Shayne Wellington, Ansilyn Straker, and Karlene Curtiss. 

She immigrated to the United States where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for various companies.

Her family was the main focus of her life and she dedicated all her energies to the support, care and well-being of her children.

Doreth is also survived by six grandchildren Dwayne Wellington, Delano Griffiths, Erica Curtiss, Shayne Wellington Jr., Gianna Straker, Courtney Buckhannon, five great grandchildren Mia Griffiths, Langston Toney, Kion Griffiths, Phoebe-Penelope Straker, Leila Toney and her loving daughter-in-law Shamica Wellington.

She will be dearly missed by her loving family and devoted friends as she rests in the loving arms of our great father who art in heaven.
