David Joseph Thomas

David J Thomas was born in Amityville, NY to the proud parents Janet (Bunn) Thomas and Hulyn Thomas on February 2, 2022.  He was one of five children.

David was reared in a Christian home on Long Island, NY.  He has resided in Amityville, Wyndanch, West Babylon and North Babylon and he received his education in the North Babylon Public School system.

David was all about family.  Over the years the Thomas family has been known for hosting large family gatherings which he truly loved.  David enjoyed traveling, he was also an avid bowler and he loved baseball, specifically the NY Yankees.  David was employed as a Supervisor at Highgrade Metal Molding where he retired after 48 years of service.

At the age of 67, David passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 3, 2022.  He was predeceased by his mother Janet, father Hulyn, and identical twin brother Joseph.

David touched many lives.  Everyone will miss him.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 48 years, Sharon; two daughters, Gina and Yolanda, four sons, David, Jermaine (Karen), Demetrius and Michael; nine grandchildren, Steve, Heather, DaLicia, Justus, Jennifer, Kayla, Micah, Caleb, and Delante; one sister, Nina; and two brothers, Danny and Donald and a host of other relatives and friends.
