Amanda Lee Obituary

Mother Amanda Lee was born to the late Brantford Nig and Susie Grant on July 3, 1927 in Rockyford, Georgia.

Amanda and her siblings were a close-knit family and resided together. She was an excellent cook and found employment as a short-order cook at a well known restaurant in Savannah, Georgia.

Amanda joined Miller’s Temple Firstborn Church of the Living God after attending a revival in September,1954 and after receiving the Holy Ghost. She was appointed president of the Usher Board and worked faithfully as long as health prevailed.

Amanda had the spirit of a caretaker and was always there if and when you needed her. She often provided physical, emotional care and support to her family and friends.Amanda was loved and respected by everyone as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
