Quinton McHenry

Obituary

Mr. Quinton Earl McHenry, age 63, died at Elmhurst General Hospital in Elmhurst, New York on Tuesday August 28, 2018 after a long illness.

He was born on June 5, 1955 in Birmingham, Alabama. He moved as a young child, with his mother and other siblings to Brooklyn, New York, where he lived until shortly before his death. Quinton was an active member of the community, who as a young man received a full scholarship to M.I.T., which he attended until a chronic illness, from which he never fully recovered, forced him to withdraw.

Survivors include his three siblings, one brother in law and spirit, niece, nephews, countless relative and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.

6 He said to me "It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of life. 7 He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son."
